DNN Halloween Makeover???

For halloween, Dima News Network has gotten a fresh look to celebrate.

Heres what the team has done for this years halloween!

Homepage & Icons

• All of our official branding has gone from pink to orange!
• You may also notice a light orange gradient at the top of the home page. Looks pretty cool

Hammer Game

If you didn't know, DNN has a easter egg on the coming soon page.

This page is accessed by going to the More or Stories sections.

You are able to click the hammer to begin a secret mini-game!

Heres everything that was added to the hammer game for halloween:

Enemy Redesigns

Many enemies got spooky redesigns for halloween!

Basic

• This enemy is now a pumpkin!
• Designed by our very own RubyPlayzz!!!

Brute

• Now a spider!

Glass

• Now wrapped in bandages!
• Still super fragile

Quad

• The quad is the same in the halloween update.
• This is mainly so it isn't confused with the newest enemy.
• More on this soon...

New game-event...

A new event has been added when you reach 15,000 score... Bloodmoon!

During a bloodmoon, more difficult enemies will spawn more frequently. Quads will also begin spawning.

When a bloodmoon occurs, a new enemy also spawns...

Bloodquad

• The bloodquad is a new enemy that spawns during the bloodmoon.
• Unlike a normal quad, it only takes 1 hit to kill.
• However, the bloodquad can move.
• It can move in:
  • Circles,
  • Waves,
  • or in Ovals.
• Only 2 bloodquads can be alive at once.

That was everything that was added in the 2025 halloween update.

Maybe we'll do more of these for things like Christmas or next halloween.
